

Each coin will feature a special retirement badge on one side and a highlight from Jeter’s career on the other. The range of 10 collectors’ coins will be released throughout the baseball season. Later in the season, fans will be given a chance to vote on which of their favorite Jeter moments should be honored on the coin.
MLB will also host The Final Season Pop-Up Shop at MLB.com, where fans can buy the commemorative coins, Jeter t-shirts, jerseys and other collectibles.
A portion of the proceeds from the collection will go to Turn 2 Foundation, founded by Jeter during his rookie year in 1996 to help youth avoid drug and alcohol addiction.
