Following the news last Wednesday that Manchester United was calling it quits with its current equipment partner Nike, the football team has announced a new 10-year deal with adidas.
The new partnership covers a global technical sponsorship and dual-branded licensing deal. Nike will continue in its role of technical sponsor and trademark licensee through the 2014/2015 season.
Adidas is also the team kit partner for A.C. Milan and Real Madrid, among others.
