Licensing agency on board to grow the boxing brand across the globe.

The World Boxing Council has appointed Learfield Licensing Partners as its global licensing agency across all categories.

Learfield will now work to maximize exposure opportunities for the WBC globally, as well as help to secure partnerships for licensed products across various categories and retail channels. The agency will also build on the history and heritage of the WBC for co-branding opportunities and increased visibility.

“We are extremely pleased and excited to announce our partnership with Learfield Licensing, an organization with a significant history, the champions of marketing,” says Mauricio Sulaiman, president, WBC. “I’m confident this new partnership will prove to be very beneficial as we leverage the collective opportunities and resources which will create tremendous ventures to continue to lead our beloved sport of boxing.”

The partnership will also include the ability to showcase the WBC as a lifestyle brand featuring performance apparel and training products that target fitness enthusiasts.

Additionally, Learfield’s legal team will work with WBC to strengthen and protect the brand in markets throughout the world.
