Powerboat brand taps Mark Cuban-backed company for dual-branded products.

Chris-Craft, a manufacturer of recreational powerboats, has joined forces with Tower Paddle Boards for a co-branded range of inflatable, stand up paddle boards.

The three-year deal was brokered by IMG, Chris-Craft’s licensing agent.

The new inflatable paddle boards will be available in the U.S. later this year at Chris-Craft boat dealers and online.

“I’ve always admired Chris-Craft’s classical styling, attention to detail and rich history,” says Stephan Aarstol, founder and chief executive officer, Chris-Craft. “At Tower, we share many of their brand ideals. It’s a natural partnership and I’m excited about the prospects.”

Tower is a manufacturer direct paddle board company that is backed by investor Mark Cuban. Cuban became involved with Tower after Aarstol appeared on ABC’s TV series “Shark Tank” in 2011.

“We are excited to partner with Tower, a best-in-class partner and innovator in the paddle board industry,” says Allison Scharnow, director, marketing, Chris-Craft. “The special edition Chris-Craft Tower inflatable paddle board will no doubt become a ‘must-have’ accessory for Chris-Craft owners and all fans of our brand.”
