Early Bird Licensing has signed on to represent the soccer brand Paris Saint Germain in the Nordic market.
EBL has already secured a number of deals for the brand apparel, home textiles, publishing, toys, board games, stationery and gifts and promotions and events.
"In addition to being a football club with internationally strong players [Paris Saint Germain] is also an exciting and fast-growing sport/lifestyle brand,” says Marie-Louise Bengtsson, partner, EBL. “It has a strong, unique connection to the iconic and timeless city of Paris, fashion, etc. The brand is interesting also outside the core football target group.”
The team is planning a visit to Sweden this July that will include a number of events and friendly games against local teams and Real Madrid.
“It is great for us to secure the presence of our brand in Northern Europe; it is a natural step in our international development,” says Fabien Allegre, merchandising, Paris Saint Germain.
