“For golfers the world over a visit to The Old Course at St Andrews Links is the culmination of a lifelong dream,” says Danny Campbell, commercial director, St Andrews Links. “We occupy a very unique position as the Home of Golf and are very proud of our history and heritage. The unique opportunity provided by St Andrews Links really does provide partners and suppliers with the chance to connect with followers and participants of the sport across the world through shared values such as quality, customer experience, history and community.”

CPLG plans to build on the existing St Andrews Links partnership program, which has been established over the past eight years and has attracted global partner Allianz and official partners Brooks Brothers, Callaway

and Rolex.

The Links is currently preparing to host the 2015 St. Andrews British Open.

“The past eight years have already seen the creation of a very strong commercial program and development of new initiatives on and off the course,” says Vickie O’Malley, managing director, CPLG U.K. “With the Open championship taking place in 2015, global interest is only set to continue in the Links, and we are thrilled to be part of that journey for the next five years. During this phase we will focus on securing best-in-class commercial partnerships for travel, automotive and logistics and develop the licensing program into new categories such as luggage, ceramics, glassware, jewelry and fragrance.”
