Italian football club AC Milan has joined forces with Roc Nation to form a new partnership to drive innovation, community, integrity and inclusiveness.

The partnership will focus on philanthropy, music programming, merchandise collaboration, brand amplification, creative activation, digital strategy, commercial sales and cultural experiences.

"This partnership between AC Milan and Roc Nation represents the coming together of two powerful organizations with strong values at their core," says Ivan Gazidis, chief executive officer, AC Milan. "Our shared commitment to inclusiveness, progressiveness and excellence will drive everything that we do, and I am very excited for what's to come."

Roc Nation is a global entertainment agency founded in 2008 by musical artist and entrepreneur Jay-Z. The organization and its founder have worked closely with brands and sports groups on social causes throughout the years. Early last year, Jay-Z partnered with PUMA for a shoe line and social initiative in collaboration with the Reform Alliance.

"Roc Nation is thrilled to embark on this unique partnership with AC Milan,” adds Michael Yormark, co-chief executive officer, Roc Nation Unified. “Both brands possess a strong commitment to community, which was evident through the success of 'From Milan with Love.' I am looking forward to building on that success by creating more opportunities together that combine the integrity of the club's rich history and Roc Nation's signature ability to create and move culture."

The news follows AC Milan’s 120th-anniversary last year. To honor the occasion, licensing partner PUMA debuted a line of commemorative jerseys and apparel.
