O’Neill Vintners & Distillers has partnered with Heisman Trophy winner Charles Woodson to launch a line of wines from the Paso Robles and Monterey Counties.

Called Intercept, the line includes a Cabernet Sauvignon, Red Blend, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, each priced at $18. According to Wine Industry Advisor, Paso Robles-based winemaker Amanda Gorter sourced fruit from premium California vineyards in Paso Robles and Monterey to make the wines Woodson wanted to share with his fans.

Intercept will be supported with distribution in the Midwest, California and Florida. The line joins other licensed wines such as the recently announced bottles from Wine that Rocks and “Star Trek.”
