Scholastic Media has announced a roster of new partners that have signed on to help celebrate the 50th anniversary of Clifford the Big Red Dog.
American Home & Textiles will create a range of Clifford-themed juvenile, infant and toddler bedding and bath products. The line will include hooded towels, beach towels, beach mats, hooded ponchos, tote bags, kitchen placemats, tablecloths, napkins, welcome mats, curtains, valances, tie backs, pet beds and quilted slumber mats.
New apparel partners include Hybrid Apparel for Clifford tees, tanks, fleeces and thermals for all ages, as well as new Clifford novelty tops for girls in the U.S.; and J Corp for youth, toddler and infant tees, swimwear, underwear and sleepwear in Canada.
A&A Global will debut new Clifford plush toys and foam balls for crane arcade games; Andrews Blaine will offer Clifford plastic and magnetic bookmarks and book lights; The Young Scientists Club will craft new Clifford science experiments and lab kids, science-related products and science club subscriptions; and Color-A-Cookie will launch Clifford Animal Crackers, cookie decorating kits, gingerbread dog houses and decorated cookies.
The publisher has also signed several promotional partners to help celebrate Clifford’s birthday, including U.S. Buffets (owner of HomeTown Buffet, Old Country Buffet, Country Buffet, Ryan's and Fire Mountain restaurants), which will offer printable activities, placemats, stickers, bookmarks and book reading logs at restaurants across the U.S.; and Wendy’s Arby’s International, which will offer three different collectible Clifford Make-A-Scene kits, featuring a background and six repositionable stickers as kid’s meal premiums at locations worldwide.
