Viacom Nickelodeon Consumer Products has partnered with Walmart to debut a new feature-length special episode of and exclusive merch for “Paw Patrol.”
Walmart will be the exclusive home for “Paw Patrol: Ready, Race, Rescue,” with the DVD and special-edition product set to launch across 10 territories including the U.S. The Ready, Race, Rescue assortment of items span categories including toys, apparel, accessories, footwear, home, health and beauty. Walmart and Viacom Nickelodeon Consumer Products are also partnering with experiential retail events in 800 stores nationwide to kick off the debut of the film next month.
Currently in its sixth season, “Paw Patrol” follows a pack of heroic rescue dogs–Chase, Marshall, Rubble, Skye, Rocky, Zuma, Everest and Tracker–who are led by their owner Ryder. The series features a curriculum that focuses on citizenship, social skills and problem-solving. The property has been licensed for a variety of products including a recent deal with CandyRific.
