Walmart, BuzzFeed’s Tasty Cook Up Shoppable Recipes

Walmart and BuzzFeed have partnered to launch shoppable recipes inspired by Tasty cooking videos.

Shoppable recipes provide a seamless grocery shopping experience for Tasty iOS app users by providing them quick access to ingredients for more than 4,000 recipes. From the app, users can add complete ingredient lists for recipes to their Walmart digital grocery carts. Customers can also swap items within the “Tasty” app based on their preferences for price, brand, quantity, organic or other dietary requirements.

“Finding that perfect recipe, creating a grocery list and finally getting to the store can keep any chef out of the kitchen,” says Janey Whiteside, chief customer officer, Walmart. “We’re excited to create a fun solution that feeds customers’ appetites to put time back in their busy schedules all while saving money with Walmart’s everyday low prices.”

Shoppable recipes is the latest addition to the BuzzFeed and Walmart partnership. The two companies recently debuted a
