The newly created imprint of Centum Publishing will work to consolidate and build on the success of Sainsbury’s brand titles, which are currently handled by a range of U.K. publishers.

The first phase of new titles will appear in Sainsbury’s stores in September 2015.

“Our range of children’s books is an exciting and popular element of our overall in- store offering, and this alliance means we can now create even more innovative and exciting own-brand content for children,” says Phil Carroll, head of books, Sainsbury’s. “I’m looking forward to seeing what this incredibly talented team will achieve in the next three years to truly cement Sainsbury’s as a destination for children’s publishing.”
