The Polaroid Fotobar is expanding its experiential retail concept with the opening of seven micro-retail locations in select Westfield Malls throughout California.

The 300-square-foot stores will make the process of turning pictures that live on smartphones, Facebook, Instagram and other digital platforms into pieces of art.

The seven micro-stores are set to open throughout late October and early November in Westfield mall locations in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento and San Jose, Calif.

Additionally, consumers can instantly transform their pictures into three different size Polaroid prints, which can be collected into unique Polaroid Shadowboxes or other Polaroid picture accessories.

"Our new micro-retail stores represent the best of our technology, merchandising and retail knowledge, creating a highly scalable, efficient store model that can be rolled out nationwide," says Warren Struhl, founder and chief executive officer, Poloroid Fotobar. "Two years ago when we launched Polaroid Fotobar, our goal was to reinvent how consumers interact with their digital photography in a fun manner. Now, we have a brand new retail footprint in which consumers can print their best memories for their wall, desk or shelf."
