The Olympic store is part of the new IOC global licensing strategy, a revamped push to bring official Olympic-branded merchandise to Olympic fans.

The store will offer official merchandise from three distinct Olympic core licensing collections–the Olympic Games Collection (for fans of the specific upcoming games), the Olympic Heritage Collection (aimed at fans interested in art and design elements from previous games) and the Olympic Collection (for young, active fans.)

“We are delighted to launch our first Olympic store on Alibaba’s Tmall in China, one of the world’s largest e-commerce marketplaces,” says Timo Lumme, managing director, IOC TMS. “The launch was made possible thanks to the support of our worldwide Olympic partner Alibaba’s technology and expertise, as well as our partnership with the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games 2022. The Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 will be a landmark moment for China and the Olympic Movement, and from today we look forward to offering the latest exciting Olympic products to Chinese Olympic fans through our new Olympic store on Alibaba’s platform.”

The store will initially be available to fans in China, though the IOC plans to create a global e-commerce platform for fans across the globe.

The Olympic store is available now via TheOlympicStore.tmall.com.
