FAO Schwarz Heads to Bon-Ton Stores

NORTH AMERICA–The Bon-Ton Stores is set to introduce the classic toy brand FAO Schwarz into 186 of its department stores as well as on the company’s e-commerce website.

The classic toy brand will be showcased at Bon-Ton, Boston Store, Bergner’s, Carson’s and other department stores this holiday season.

Through the distribution agreement, a variety of FAO Schwarz toys (including the classic Piano Mat and a raft of plush toys) will be available at select Bon-Ton department stores including Bon-Ton, Boston Store, Bergner’s, Carson’s, Elder-Beerman, Herberger’s and Younkers stores. The full assortment of FAO Schwarz-branded merchandise will also be offered online.

Furthermore, to celebrate the launch, each retail location will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 4, at 10 a.m. The first 25 children at each store will receive a gift and will have the opportunity to participate in the official FAO Schwarz ribbon cutting and photo opportunity. Guests visiting can also participate in an Instagram photo contest for a chance to win one of three FAO Schwarz prize packages.
