BBC Worldwide opened the first-ever Doctor Who pop-up shop in Sydney, Australia, Thursday, with fans lining up for more than three hours to get inside.

Based in the inner city suburb of Newtown, the pop-up shop will be open for six weeks.

The shop features exclusive merchandise not currently available in Australian stores including the Doctor Who home range featuring teapots, mugs and laptop covers, women’s apparel from the U.S., men’s t-shirts from the U.K. and replica props and coats from the U.K. and Canada alongside toys, gifts, DVDs and books.

Fans also have the opportunity to get their photo taken in-store with a Dalek and a replica TARDIS.

“The pop-up shop has been an experiment for us, and we are absolutely delighted with the response we have had on the opening day,” says Rachael Hammond, senior licensing executive, BBC Worldwide.
