MoMA Store Expands in Japan

The Museum of Modern Art Design Store will expand its presence in Japan through a new partnership with the Loft Company, one of Japan’s largest specialty and lifestyle retailers.

Loft will now help broaden MoMA Design Store’s selection of merchandise with new shop-in-shops in two Loft stores in Tokyo. The new shop-in-shops, which were developed in collaboration with The Museum of Modern Art, are slated to open this month, with additional locations to follow.

Additionally, Loft will assume operation of the existing MoMA Design Store in Tokyo, as well as the Japanese website.
