Build-A-Bear Workshop has announced the opening of a new workshop on London’s Oxford Street. Located at Unit 11 Park House, the new workshop opened on Dec. 18 and marks Build-A-Bear’s sixth London retail location.

A grand opening event featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony as well as appearances from Build-A-Bear’s mascots Bearemy and Pawlette.

“We are delighted to bring a new Workshop to one of the most acclaimed shopping streets right in the heart of London,” says Chris Hurt, chief operating officer, Build-A-Bear Workshop. “This prime location offers an incredible opportunity for guests of all ages to create lasting memories and enjoy the special experience of creating their own furry friends.”

In celebration of the opening, Build-A-Bear Foundation donated 200 bears to Great Ormond Street Hospital to support young patients and their families.

“At Build-A-Bear, it is our mission to spread joy and add a little more heart to life,” says Rosalind Johnson, president, Build-A-Bear Foundation. “We are honoured to give back to our local communities and support the young patients at Great Ormond Street Hospital, providing them with comfort and cheer during these challenging times. This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to giving back and the power of creating heartwarming experiences with loved ones.”
