Licensing International Names Scholarship Winners

Winners include two “Handcraft Scholarships.”

Licensing International has announced that four students have been selected to receive the inaugural Licensing International Scholarships. 

The program, directed by the Licensing International Foundation, grants scholarships to individuals around the world who are interested in a career in brand licensing. Scholarships are available for students seeking degrees in business, marketing, design, engineering, entrepreneurial studies, e-commerce and other brand licensing industry-related programs.

“The scholarship program is a key element of Licensing International’s mission to inspire the next generation of talent globally while advancing the understanding of licensing in society,” says Maura Regan, president, Licensing International. “We are thrilled to award the inaugural Licensing International scholarships to these four outstanding students.”

Recipients are:

Shaina Hershberg - LIM College, 2022

Clay Lute - LIM College, 2023

Daliya Khalikova – LIM College, Graduate Program

Magali Souffrant, New

York University, 2025

Two of the recipients, Shaina Hershberg and Clay Lute, were awarded the “Handcraft Scholarship,” sponsored by Handcraft Manufacturing - an industry-leading manufacturer.

“Handcraft is honored to be able to help bolster the licensing industry by helping to encourage and support the next generation of licensing professionals,” says Marshall Mizrahi, vice president, Handcraft Manufacturing. “We recognized the importance of bringing in new young talent and what that would mean for the overall success of our industry.”

The Licensing International Scholarship Program is funded by direct donations from the brand licensing community and the creation of Named/Sponsored Scholarships from donors looking to celebrate their commitment to education and the licensing industry.
