Dove Trading has launched the latest in its line of Hello Kitty mobile phones, created in partnership with Sanrio and Alcatel One Touch Mobile Phones.

The new model, dubbed the Hello Kitty S’Pop features a wraparound Hello Kitty casing, exclusive software and Hello Kitty games as well as everything mobile users have come to expect from their phones including a touchscreen, three-megapixel camera, 3G, WiFi and Hello Kitty screen protector.

The phone, which runs on the Android operating system, is available now in Poland, Romania, Serbia. Dove Trading is looking to expand the operation to new territories and will be showcasing its line at Brand Licensing Europe in London Oct. 15-17.

Dove Trading launched its first Hello Kitty mobile, the Sony w580i, in 2008.

“From the very first day, we decided that the key was to develop a coherent, long-term strategy in terms of mobile selection, design, features, price points and most importantly the evolution of each Hello Kitty phone that we released. If we had label-slapped from day one and gone for the quick kill, Hello Kitty mobiles would have lasted no more than 18 months,” says Michael Battle, owner, Dove Trading. “The key was to always evolve, innovate and surprise, to maintain the ‘wow’ factor when someone sees our latest phone for the first time. I think we’ve achieved this.”
