The Joester Loria Group brokered the deal. The renewal will see University Games continue to develop new products beginning in 2019. “We are thrilled to continue our partnership with The World of Eric Carle,” says Bob Moog, president, University Games.“We love the brand and will continue to deliver great game experiences for children and families everywhere.”
Most recently, University Games launched a new series of tin games and card games under its Briarpatch division including The World of Eric Carle Around the Farm Game Tin, World of Eric Carle Animal Rummy Card Game, World of Eric Carle Alphabet Go Fish Card Game and The Very Hungry Caterpillar Card Game.
The World of Eric Carle and University Games originally partnered in 2006, resulting in a wide range of educational games and puzzles at retailers including Kohl’s, Walmart, Barnes & Noble and more.
