Fox Consumer Products EMEA has signed new licensing deals for Jeff Kinney’s Diary of a Wimpy Kid book series.

Targeting the brand’s 6- to 12-year-old fanbase, new U.K. partners include BM Fashion for t-shirts and sweatshirts, Danilo for greeting cards and Robert Frederick for stationery. Paul Lamond Games is the U.K. distributor for Pressman’s range of puzzles and games.

The latest film in the series, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days, will be released Aug. 3 and the seventh book in the kid’s series, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Third Wheel, will hit book stores in November.

“The Diary of a Wimpy Kid book sales have generated an unprecedented level of awareness and love for the franchise amongst parents and children,” says Jeffrey Godsick, president, Fox Consumer Products. “The theatrical release of Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days in August and the subsequent DVD release in Q4 2012 present an additional platform to extend the Wimpy Kid narrative through appropriate licensed products that appeal to the devoted followers beyond the books and the big screen.”

More than 75 million Diary of a Wimpy Kid books are now in print in 36 territories and 35 languages worldwide.
