North American manga publisher VIZ Media has launched the first issue in an original graphic novel series featuring Pretty Ugly’s Uglydoll brand.
The
Uglydoll: Goin’ Places!
series will follow the adventures of Wage, Babo, Ox, Ice-Bat and other characters in the Uglyverse, where "ugly" means unique.
"The great fun the Uglydoll team had creating this series comes through on every page," says Traci Todd, senior editor, children's publishing, Viz Media. "The art is beautiful and vibrant, and we tried to pay homage to Sun-Min and David's distinct sense of humor and play. We hope we've created something Uglydoll fans will love."
