Brand-new, never-before-seen characters added to Star Wars universe.

Egmont Publishing, in conjunction with the World Book Day campaign, will publish a new Star Wars book series that features new characters to the Star Wars universe.

Both the new series and characters have been created in partnership with the teams at Disney and Lucasfilm.

The series will take place in the period between the films Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. It will follow characters Milo and Lina Graf as they set off on a journey through space to rescue their parents from the evil Empire. Readers will also be introduced to a new droid, CR-8R, and a new villain, Captain Korda.

The books Star Wars: Adventures in Wild Space: The Escape and Star Wars: Adventures in Wild Space: The Snare by Cavan Scott and Star Wars: Adventures in Wild Space: The Nest by Tom Huddleston will publish in the U.K. on March 3.

Star Wars: Adventures in Wild Space: The Escape will be available for £1 as part of the World Book Day campaign.
