Penguin Ventures has inked a deal with Backyard Cinema to produce an immersive cinematic experience based on its classic book The Snowman at the IMG-produced Hyde Park Winter Wonderland in London.

Part of The Snowman 40th anniversary celebration, the multi-roomed, multi-sensory experience, dubbed “The Snowman Experience,” will offer 5,000 square feet of replica sets from the film and a 10-meter-wide curved screen made up of 300 LED panels that help audiences feel as though they are flying with The Snowman.

“When we started planning for the Snowman 40th celebrations, we were keen to create some outstanding new experiences that could be enjoyed by everyone,” says Thomas Merrington, creative director, Penguin Ventures. "We are thrilled to be working with Backyard Cinema, who have been an extraordinary partner and have enabled us to bring The Snowman to life in an entirely new way. We are certain that The Snowman Experience will create unforgettable memories for all generations of visitors to Winter Wonderland Festival this year.”

Backyard Cinema’s "The Snowman Experience" is set to kick off Nov. 21 at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland and will run through Jan. 6.

Tickets are available for purchase at HydeParkWinterWonderland.com.

Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase exclusive 40th-anniversary goods at the Winter Wonderland gift shop.
