The popular French YA series will be published in the U.S., Italy, Czech Republic and Germany

GLOBAL–Les Livres du Dragon d’Or has tapped a number of international publishers to launch SmileyWorld’s young adult novel series My Smiley Life in new markets outside of France.

New publishing partners for the brand include Andrews McMeel in the U.S., Mondadori in Italy, Albatross in the Czech Republic and Ullmann Verlag in Germany.

The My Smiley Life series currently consists of three titles, with books four and five set to launch in France next year.

My Smiley Life brings Smiley characters to life through the daily misadventures of 11-year-old Max. The books focus on exploring Max’s emotional journeys as well as how he grows up, builds confidence and confronts all his daily problems with humor and positivity.
