Running Press Kids has launched a new board book series inspired by rock musicians David Bowie and KISS.

The Baby Rocker series is aimed at introducing young readers to early concepts, like colors and shapes, through the icons in music. Baby Bowie and Baby KISS came to life with the licensing support of Epic Rights/Perryscope Productions for Baby Bowie and Epic Rights for Baby KISS. The Baby Bowie book introduces adjectives to kids, and the Baby KISS book introduces colors. Each book wraps up with a lyric from the musicians’ song catalogs.

“Baby Rocker is a fresh and exciting way for parents and grandparents to share their love of music with their little ones,” says Kristin Kiser, vice president and publisher, Running Press. “We are thrilled to partner with Epic Rights and Perryscope Productions on these first two titles, and can’t wait to add more extraordinary rockers to the series.”

These series are expected to expand in spring 2020 with additional titles featuring other celebrated music artists. The series joins other book collections from Running Press including a Mister Rodgers set and a Bob Ross line.
