Penske Media Corporation has finalized its acquisition of Rolling Stone magazine.

"We're very excited about working with Jann and Gus Wenner to build on the 50-year history of this iconic brand," says Kevin LaBonge, vice president, global partnerships and licensing, PMC. "It continues to be at the forefront of the culture and with local editions across the Americas, Asia, and Europe it now reaches 60 million fans each month around the world. We look forward to bringing them new Rolling Stone experiences in the future."

Penske’s media portfolio includes and Women’s Wear Daily.

Penske first announced its plan to absorb the company in December 2017.
