Netflix Fixes Up Green Eggs and Ham Series

The classic book will be adapted for television by Jared Stern, writer of

The LEGO Movie Sequel

, with 13 episodes planned for the first season, which will arrive in 2018.

Stern will also serve as an executive producer alongside DeGeneres, Jeff Kleeman, Mike Karz and David Dobkin. The company will be produced by A Very Good Production, A Stern Talking To and Gulfstream Television in association with Warner Bros. Animation. The series will be distributed by Warner Bros. Television.

Cindy Holland, vice president of original content for Netflix said:
