The classic character will appear on a new line of wrapping paper, greeting cards and more.

EUROPE–Moomin Characters has signed an agreement with greetings company Gemma International for a range of greeting cards, wrapping paper and gift packs inspired by the classic Finnish characters.

Caroline Mickler, the brand’s U.K. licensing agent, brokered the deal.

The new line of goods will feature specially selected imagery from the Moomin archives across a range of greeting cards, gift wrap rolls and sheets, gift tags and gift packs.

The Moomin line will be available at retail from summer and fall of this year.

Meanwhile, a new “Moomin” animated TV series is slated to launch in 2019.
