Moomin Characters has launched the CSR campaign #OurSea to work with licensees, publishers and the general public to help save the Baltic Sea, one of the most polluted seas in the world.

The campaign is targeting a €1 million goal. Moomin Characters is working with the John Nurminen Foundation and licensing agencies Bulls Licensing and Rights & Brands to secure partners for the upcoming campaign. The partnership has already led to more than 50 Moomin licensees donating to the efforts.

The campaign will roll out to the general public in February 2020.

The philanthropic efforts come during the 75th anniversary of the Moomin brand. Brand Licensing Europe is celebrating the brand at this year’s BLE event as part of its animation spotlight for 2019.
