Austalian licensing and marketing agency Merchantwise will continue to fete 100 years of May Gibbs’ first book,

Gumnut Babies

, with the release of a centenary hardcover edition of the title.

HarperCollins Children’s Books Australia will publish the book in conjunction with an exclusive video storytelling presentation from singer Elly-May Barnes. The centenary edition will also showcase Gibbs’ original illustrations and includes a biography on the author.

The centenary edition of

Gumnut Babies

is now available in Australian book stores.
