EUROPE–Time Inc. has launched a line of athleisure inspired by the women’s and lifestyle magazine Marie Claire U.K.

The deal was brokered by licensing agency Brand Talent.

The new capsule collection, called Marie Claire Sport, was inspired by the magazine’s fashion expertise and editor in chief Trish Halpin’s “unique understanding of what women really want to work out in.” It includes activewear in a range of patterns and styles including cropped jackets, leggings and outerwear.

“All of us at team Marie Claire are so excited about our new range. Marie Claire Sport had to be both super comfortable and look great, whether you are training or sipping a soya latte. We are thrilled with the results–Marie Claire Sport is the ultimate supercharged athleisure range with an eye to the catwalk but with legs in the gym,” says Justine Southall, managing director, fashion and beauty, Time Inc. U.K.
