Lion Forge Comics, under its new all-ages digital imprint Roar Comics, has launched two new digital comic books based on the iconic ’80s and ’90s TV shows “Saved by the Bell” and “Punky Brewster,” which celebrate their 25th and 30th anniversaries this year, respectively.

The comics are published under license from NBCUniversal Televsion Consumer Products and are currently available in the Amazon Kindle Bookstore. The comics will be available through additional outlets, including ComicsPlus, in the coming weeks.

Lion Forge launched digital comics for the NBCUniversal properties “Airwolf” and “Knight Rider” in October 2013 and will also be releasing the first digital issue of “Miami Vice” in the coming months.
