The Eric Carle Studio has expanded its partnership with JWR Productions to bring “The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show” to U.K. audiences in a deal brokered by The Joester Loria Group.

Produced by JWR, the live show will bring the children’s book to life with 75 puppets inspired by Carle’s collage-style artwork. In addition to The Very Hungry Caterpillar, the show will also feature stories including The Artist Who Painted a Blue Horse, Mister Seahorse and The Very Lonely Firefly.

“The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show” previously debuted in Australia and the U.S.

The U.K. show will include a 12-city tour that kicks off this fall before launching in London’s West End at the Ambassador Theatre for five weeks beginning in December.

Marketing for “The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show” kicked off earlier this year with full page ads in the Guardian and an Amazon ticket promotion. The campaign also includes social media and train station posters.
