Harper Collins Children’s Books have announced “How to Be More Paddington: A Book of Kindness,” a gift book of inspirational quotes from “Paddington” combined with the original illustrations.

World rights were secured by Kate Hayler, publishing director, Harper Collins Children’s Books from Hilary Delamere at The Agency (London), representing Michael Bond, the author of “Paddington” and from the Peggy Fortnum estate, the original illustrator.

“We are thrilled to be publishing this gorgeous book of classic ‘Paddington’ quotes, beautifully illustrated by Peggy Fortnum,” says Hayler. “Sometimes poignant and often hilarious – “Paddington’s kindness always shines through whatever the situation. This is sure to be a gift to be treasured.”

“How to Be More Paddington: A Book of Kindness” will publish in November.

The Paddington brand has continued to garner partners in recent months. Along with the HarperCollins deal, the character has also been leveraged in deals with The Bentex Group and PhatMojo.
