From Frank to Expand Beyond Greetings

A Squared Entertainment, a subsidiary of Genius Brands International, has partnered with From Frank to expand the humor greeting card line, which is licensed to American Greetings' division Recycled Paper Greetings, into a broad-based lifestyle brand.

“From Frank  is an incredibly fun property with Frank the French bulldog and his canine and feline sidekicks making millions of us laugh out loud with their smart, droll and waggish humor,” said Stone Newman, president, global consumer products, GBI.

Following the success of the greeting card line at Target and other retailers around the country, a number of licensing partners have been signed that incorporate From Frank’s humor across several product categories.

Lottery operator GTech has signed an exclusive multi-year deal for the use of From Frank images and one-liners on printed lottery game pieces. The From Frank lottery tickets, featuring Frank and friends, will be available across the U.S. in early 2015. 

Bare Tree Media will introduce

 From Frank-branded virtual goods including Emoticons and a Photo Bomb mobile app for worldwide distribution in early 2015.  

Calendar Club is planning a 2015 wall calendar that is available now in the U.S. at all Calendar Club retail locations and Barnes & Noble. Calendar Club will also introduce a collection of 1000-piece jigsaw puzzles at all Go! Game stores.

Finally, Hot Properties recently introduced a collection of From Frank pins, stickers, air fresheners and magnets at trend retailers, gift stores and card stores around the U.S.
