Furthermore, thousands of “Frank and Ernest” comics were selected to create five distinct style guides with themes based on work life; the ups and downs of navigating life through its road signs; daily observations and musings; life as seen through the eyes of a newborn chick; and smart, pithy sayings.
“Frank and Ernest” initially launched in 1972 and currently appears in 1,200 newspapers throughout the U.S.
