New magazine launches in the U.K. based on the Nickelodeon preschool series.

Egmont Publishing has launched a new publication, Paw Patrol magazine, in the U.K.

The magazine is based on “Paw Patrol,” the Nickelodeon preschool series that features six heroic puppies and their tech-savvy human friend Ryder. The series is the No. 1 show on Nick Jr. in the U.K. and Ireland and airs daily.

The new magazine is for children ages 3 to 5, and will include the series’ characters, gadgets and vehicles, as well as stories, puzzles, stickers and more.

"I am very excited about the launch of Paw Patrol magazine, which will give young fans even more of their doggy heroes and allow them to engage with the humor and excitement of the ‘Paw Patrol’ world in print,” says Anna Reyburn, publisher, Paw Patrol magazine. “The preschool sector of the magazine market is highly competitive and I am confident that Paw Patrol, with its impeccable preschool pedigree, will be an instant winner.”

The first issue hit newsstands last week.
