magazine, capitalizing on the popular kids’ collectibles trend.
Fingerlings
magazine will be the first publication dedicated to the Fingerlings line of collectibles. The WowWee line of figurines are interactive toys that respond to a user’s touch. Egmont’s debut issue will include four posters, craft activities, character fact files, 60 stickers and prize drawings.
Targeted at children ages 4-7, the publication aims to leverage the popularity of the children’s collectible market. According to a recent NPD study, one-in-four toys sold in the U.K. are a collectible.

The new magazine marks another major publishing deal for the Fingerlings brand. In 2018, WowWee kicked things off by
tapping two Penguin Random House divisions
to create a publishing program for the collectible toy line.
The first issue of
Fingerlings
is available on U.K. store shelves now.
