Egmont Publishing, the official publisher of “Minecraft” books, will publish two new “Minecraft” titles–Minecraft: The Survivors’ Book of Secrets and Minecraft Exploded Builds: Medieval Fortress–this year.

Current print runs for Egmont’s “Minecraft” titles top at 8 million copies worldwide, selling in 41 markets and in 32 different languages.

The first title, Minecraft: The Survivors’ Book of Secrets, will contain the collective knowledge of the Survivors, an underground group of “Minecraft” experts, including how to stalk enemies, hand-to-hand combat tips and much more. The first title will be released June 16.

The second title, Minecraft Exploded Builds: Medieval Fortress, will include guides, schematics and ideas for players to construct, defend and customize their own medieval castle with everything from turrets to dungeons. The second book will be released Oct. 6.

“’Minecraft’ appeals to many different players for lots of different reasons,” says Cally Poplak, managing director, Egmont. “With this new selection of books, we’re digging deeper into the world of ‘Minecraft’ and creating something that will (hopefully) appeal to fans of our existing publications as well as a new subset of our community.”
