In its new role, CPLG will work to extend the Dr. Seuss portfolio across the region with an emphasis on apparel, gifting, stationery and toys for adults who grew up with the books as well as younger audiences.

The Dr. Seuss library contains more than 45 titles including The Cat in the Hat, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Green Eggs and Ham and The Lorax.

“Dr. Seuss is one of the greatest children’s authors of all time, and we are delighted to be adding the property to our portfolio,” says Steve Manners, executive vice president, CPLG. “His books and characters have introduced millions of children to the joys of reading through his unusual and quirky rhymes, and we have some fantastic plans to extend the brand even further through new product areas and markets.”

CPLG (Stand #E30) is exhibiting at this year's Brand Licensing Europe, which will take place Oct. 9-11 at London’s Olympia.
