Designer Debra Valencia has announced the release of her seventh crafting book entitled Embroidered Lettering: Techniques and Alphabets for Creating 25 Expressive Projects.

Debra Valencia is represented by The Brand Liaison.

This latest release, published by Design Originals, an imprint of Fox Chapel Publishing, combines embroidery with the popularity of hand lettering, sentiments, slogans and modern ways to personalize names and initials.

“In this stunning new book, Debra Valencia has taken her artistic expression to a new level with her unique lettering skills,” says Marcia Young, editor in chief, Fiber Art Now. “She shares her creative, boho vibe through more than two dozen embroidery projects, sharing her unique style and creative vision in Embroidered Lettering. Kudos!”

DIY crafters will learn step by step how to complete embroidery or lettering projects as Valencia guides her readers through all of the tools and materials they will need for embroidering techniques. Readers will learn how to add a modern message to coasters, create custom tote bags, sentimental throw pillows, witty tea towels, or monogram luggage tags, bags, cosmetic and eyeglass cases and more.

The Brand Liaison continues to expand Debra Valencia licensing across all categories of home goods and crafting. The brand is working with manufacturers in paper products, social expression, textiles, home fashions, tabletop, gifts, crafts and hobbies, children’s merchandise and jewelry. Valencia’s artwork is currently licensed for more than 1,000 products in stationery, home office, gifts and textiles.
