BillboardCES161.pngBillboard is partnering with ESI Cases and Accessories to create a branded line of consumer electronics and wireless accessories.

The collection, which will mark Billboard’s first foray into retail, will include corded and Bluetooth headphones and ear buds, Bluetooth speakers and mobile accessories and will be unveiled at the annual consumer electronics show CES this week in Las Vegas, Nev.

“For the first time, people around the country are going to see the Billboard name in some of their favorite stores,” says John Amato, co-president, Billboard and The Hollywood Reporter. “Our move into retail marks a unique business development for the brand and an important step toward aligning with products that elevate the sound of music.”

“Consumer electronics and mobile accessories are a core product category for the Billboard brand,” says Francisco Arenas, senior vice president of business development and licensing, Billboard and The Hollywood Reporter. “Our U.S. deal with ESI puts us both in front of a broader audience nationwide and will open doors to potential distribution opportunities around the world.”
