Literary and film series inspires range of underwear in the U.K.

Caroline Mickler, the U.K. licensing agent for E L James’ Fifty Shades trilogy, has teamed with Coco de Mer to launch a lingerie collection inspired by the series’ second book, Fifty Shades Darker.

The new line will include a range of lingerie and will aim to capture the “inner goddess” of the books’ main character, Anastasia Steele.

“It’s been an absolute pleasure working with E L James and Carline Mickler on the Fifty Shades Darker collection and we are thrilled with the results,” says Lucy Litwack, managing director, Coco de Mer. “The collection is feminine, sophisticated and elegantly provocative, and the pricing and sizing is set to appeal to E L James’ extensive fan base.”

The new range will launch this fall in advance of the Fifty Shades Darker film, which will be released worldwide in Feb. 2017.
