Little, Brown plans tips guide and adult coloring book featuring the hit app.

King Digital Entertainment has appointed Little, Brown as the global publishing licensee for its "Candy Crush" brand.

The publisher will launch the first two titles in its collection–The Official "Candy Crush Saga" Top Tips Guide and The "Candy Crush" Coloring Book–this fall.

“We’re excited to partner with Little, Brown to create the first 'Candy Crush'-inspired book collection,” says Claes Kalborg, senior director of licensing, King. “The 'Candy Crush' online community is always hungry for tips to pass tricky levels, so we’re confident this comprehensive guide will be a hit with players. Additionally, we’ve combined two of the hottest trends right now–mobile gaming and adult coloring books-to produce the 'Candy Crush' Coloring Book, which is as intricate and beautifully designed as the game itself.”

The Official "Candy Crush Saga" Top Tips Guide offers players an in-depth look at the Candy Kingdom and its parallel Dreamworld, providing tips on mastering the mechanics of the game and passing even the most challenging of levels. The "Candy Crush" Coloring Book is inspired by episodes and characters from the Candy Kingdom, targeting the hot new adult coloring book market.

LBA Books, the global publishing agent for King Digital Entertainment, also assisted in brokering the deal.
