Rockpool will re-introduce the literary brand to licensing through new apparel products.

Brambly Hedge has tapped Paul Dennicci to produce a range of babywear that will launch at U.K. retailer Mothercare.

Rockpool Licensing, Brambly Hedge’s U.K. licensing agent, brokered the deal.

The Brambly Hedge babywear range is agency’s first step in re-introducing the literary brand to licensing, according to Rockpool.

“The team at Mothercare were enchanted by the exquisite illustrations and styling of Brambly Hedge and the team at Dennicci have done an outstanding job in translating them onto a beautiful line of babywear and accessories,” says Vickie O’Malley, managing director, Rockpool.

Brambly Hedge is a classic series of children’s books, written and illustrated by Jill Barklem. The brand celebrated its 35th anniversary last year.

“We are excited to be part of the re-introduction of Brambly Hedge, its beautiful illustrations complement babywear so well,” says Kirsti Lynch, merchandiser, Mothercare. “The range looks beautiful and we can’t wait for it to hit down in stores!”
