'Beano' Accepts Summer Reading Challenge

The 2018 challenge will coincide with the brand’s 80th anniversary, which Beano Studios will fete with a raft of activites.

The Reading Agency has partnered with Beano Studios to feature the classic children’s title “Beano” in its 2018 Summer Reading Challenge.

The Summer Reading Challenge, which is run in partnership with the U.K. public library network, aims to help children retain their reading skills and confidence while school is out and has taken place annually since 1999. In 2018, the Challenge will focus on mischief and pranks inspired by the “Beano.”

2018 marks the 80th anniversary of “Beano,” which will see a host of celebrations planned by Beano Studios throughout the year.
