BBC Studios and Penguin Random House Australia have announced plans to launch three books in Australia based on the “Bluey” animated kids’ series this December.

The deal will include two storybooks and one activity book inspired by the Ludo Studio program, which follows a six-year-old Blue Heeler dog during his various adventures.

“We’ve been overwhelmed with requests for books and toys since the show began, and we are incredibly excited that kids and parents will soon be able to read, as well as watch, more wonderful ‘Bluey’ stories,” says Charlie Aspinwall, executive producer, Ludo Studio.

The “Bluey” series launched last year on ABC KIDS and various streaming platforms.
