Titles from the Archie archives are now a part of Hoopla Digital’s online catalogue.
Archie Comics has partnered with Hoopla Digital, a mobile and online service for public libraries, to add titles from its portfolio to Hoopla’s digital app and online platform.
Under the deal, Hoopla will add titles from Archie Comics’ three imprints, including the revamped “Archie” and “Jughead,” titles based on video games like “Sonic the Hedgehog” and “Mega Man” and Archie’s Dark Circle comics. The digital platform will also add the “Betty and Veronica” re-launch following the debut of the first issue this summer.
“I’ve said from the beginning–our goal is for Archie to be everywhere, accessible to all fans looking to visit Riverdale, says Jon Goldwater, publisher and chief executive officer, Archie Comics. “Teaming with the great group at Hoopla Digital moves us another step closer to that. Libraries are hugely important to Archie, and I’m excited that library readers will be able to find so many excellent titles via Hoopla Digital, from our traditional stories to the more recent, acclaimed New Riverdale launches like ‘Archie’ and ‘Jughead.’”
Hoopla Digital has partnerships with more than 950 public library systems across North America including the Toronto Public Library, Boston Public Library, Los Angeles Public Library and more. Archie Comics’ titles will join its current lineup of offerings from DC Comics, Image Comics, Dark Horse Comics, Valiant Comics and more.
Archie Comics titles are available now on Hoopla Digital’s app and online service.
